Angela Funnell is a sales agent at Elders Real Estate Batemans Bay and Moruya, working with buyers and sellers across Batemans Bay and the Eurobodalla.
From launching her first cafe at the age of 21, Angela went on to own and operate butcher shops and a deli cafe for nearly three decades, developing a deep understanding of what it takes to run a business, manage people and adapt to a constantly changing market. Most recently she spent three years teaching swimming to everyone from toddlers to competitive squad athletes, a role that sharpened her communication skills, her patience, and her ability to meet every person exactly where they are.
Those decades of hands-on experience translate directly into real estate. Angela understands what it means to negotiate, to manage competing priorities under pressure, and to keep a client’s outcome front of mind no matter what. She is professional, punctual, exceptionally well presented and, by the account of everyone who works with her, genuinely enjoyable to be around.
Angela’s decision to enter real estate was a deliberate one. She was drawn to a career that combines her love of community with a new professional challenge, and she chose the Elders South Coast team because of the support, trust and positivity she found there from day one. Her goal is simple: a long, successful career built on lasting relationships and a reputation as the agent who works the hardest and cares the most.
Outside of work, Angela is happiest when she is with her husband, her children and her friends, either entertaining at home or out on the coast she loves. She is still an active part of the swimming community at Bay Pavilion, and if you are looking for a local walking track worth the climb, she will point you straight to the Maloney’s Beach trails.
What you will always get from Angela is honesty, commitment and someone who genuinely loves this part of the world. Her children were born and raised here. This is home.
